When I Realized I Was Contributing To The Darkness - Muk Huy, Responsibility, and the Energy We Send

August 05, 20254 min read

In the spring, I learned an ancient Peruvian energy-cleansing practice called Muk Huy.
It’s simple in theory and profound in its impact: it transmutes dark energy into light in real time.

After learning it, I asked my angels and guides to take me where I would do the most good.
I was ready.
I was willing.
I had no idea where I would end up.

The first place I was taken?
The Oval Office.

The energy there was heavy.
It was dark and thick and oppressive.
And my very first thought was:
How can anything good grow here? How can anyone breathing this energy fight for what’s right?

Still, I began the work. I cleared and cleansed.
I wrapped the room in light.
And the next day, I came back… and it was heavy again.

I kept going back.
Every time I shifted the energy, it returned.

After about a week, I was guided somewhere new: Elon Musk’s office at dodge.
And if I thought the Oval Office was dark… This was worse.

So much worse.

As I cleared the space, I asked my angels,
Where did all this darkness come from?

The answer was immediate and undeniable:
From the anger.
From the hate.
From the energy people send every single day.

And just like that, I saw it.

I had contributed to it.

Every time I had a hateful thought,
every time I wanted him to fall,
every time I let my anger be louder than my light—
I added to the very darkness I was now trying to clear.

And here’s the thing:
I am someone who believes in love and light.
I live this work.
I teach this work.
And still, I had been feeding the very energy I want to see healed.

That realization cracked something open in me.

The Weight of What We Send

Righteous anger feels like action.
It feels like alignment.
It feels like justice.

But when it turns to hate—when it becomes energy soaked in rage—
it feeds darkness, no matter how “right” it feels in the moment.

That doesn’t mean we stay silent.
That doesn’t mean we stop speaking truth.
That doesn’t mean we stop fighting.

It means we become conscious of what we’re sending.

Words hold energy.
Thoughts hold energy.
Feelings hold energy.

And whether we say them out loud or not, they land.

Energetically, we are always participating.
We are
always contributing to one side or the other.

When we say “let there be light,”
we have to mean it.
Not just when it’s easy.
Not just when we agree.
Not just when it feels good.

Vengeance Is Not Ours

There’s something in us—especially when we’ve been hurt, betrayed, or silenced—that wants to see others brought down.

We want them to feel what we felt.
We want them to be exposed, punished, humiliated.
We want to watch it unfold.

That’s human.
That’s grief.
That’s pain.

And still… it’s not ours to carry.

Vengeance doesn’t belong to us.
Karma will come.
The energetic consequences of harm always return to their source.

We don’t have to hold that responsibility.
We aren’t meant to.

What we are meant to do is hold the light.
To stop fueling the very thing we came here to heal.
To trust that light and truth and justice will find their way—
and to be the ones who clear the path.

This Is the Real Battle

Muk Huy didn’t just teach me how to clear energy.
It showed me how often I unconsciously participate in the very harm I want to help stop.

And now that I see it, I can’t unsee it.
I don’t want to.

The energetic battle is not separate from the social or political one.
It’s woven through everything.
And the weight of what we send—every thought, every word, every judgment—adds up.

So now I ask myself every day:
Am I sending love or am I feeding hate?
Am I clearing or am I clouding?
Am I shifting the energy or repeating the cycle?

We don’t have to be perfect.
But we do have to be intentional.

Because the battle of love and light versus hate and darkness isn’t just happening out there.
It’s happening right here.
Inside each one of us.

We each have a choice, every single day.
To react or to respond.
To curse the darkness or cover it in light.
To feed the very thing we wish would end…
or to help dismantle it, one breath, one prayer, one act of love at a time.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of what’s happening in the world…
If you’ve found yourself pulled between righteous anger and exhaustion…
If you’ve wondered how to actually help—
this is one place to begin.

Start with awareness.
Start with intention.
Start by noticing what you’re sending.

Because the energy we send is never neutral.
It always lands somewhere.
Let what you send be love and light.
