The Battle of Love and Light vs Hate and Darkness

One morning at 2:30, I was awoken and found myself in a conversation with God.
Here is what I was shown.

What if the battle of good versus evil is now?
The battle of love and light versus hate and darkness.

The rise in hate is not an accident.
The counter, the antidote, is love and light.

Righteous anger and productive action have their place—protests, shining a light on hate and darkness, supporting love and light with your voice, your actions, and your pocketbook. There is another way to enter this battle as well: energetically.

What does that look like?
Sending love and light daily to those who are filled with darkness and hate.

It sounds easy. It sounds too easy.
In truth, it is one of the hardest things I have ever chosen to do.
It may be the hardest thing you will ever be called to do.

Loving your neighbor, even when they stand for everything you are against.
Sending love and light to people whose choices are harming others, tearing apart what we hold dear.

We are in a battle of good versus evil.
Love and light versus hate and darkness.
It is everywhere, and it is impacting everyone.

Picture someone filled with hate, rage, racism, darkness.
Now picture them being gently and lovingly covered in a blanket of love and light—over and over, all day long. Each time that person shrugs the light off, another blanket is placed over them. Slowly, some of that love and light seeps in. Cracks form. As soon as the darkness tries to return, another blanket is placed, more light seeps in, and the process continues.

This is what it looks like to keep showing up, even when it feels impossible.

And this calling doesn’t stop there. It also asks us to forgive—not to forget, not to erase the consequences of actions, not to pretend harm didn’t happen. Forgiveness is not weakness. Forgiveness is one of the greatest strengths we can show. It allows the energy to shift.

Forgiveness does not cancel consequences. Every action carries weight—energetically, financially, karmically. Each person will face the results of their choices, often in ways we will never see. That part is not our business.

The deeper question is: once someone sees the truth, apologizes, and genuinely wants to step into the light, can we forgive enough to welcome them into the work of building a different future?

For their sake, perhaps.
For the sake of the battle itself, absolutely.

Can we do it without them? Maybe.
Will it be faster, easier, and far more effective to have them adding their light to the side of love and light? Absolutely. When we deny them a place, we are actually helping the darkness take hold. We are dimming the very light we’re here to grow.

The side of hate and darkness is easy.
The side of love and light asks far more from us. It is an extraordinary call to action—one that challenges me every single day. It took me months to be able to send love and light to those I felt were destroying our nation and causing suffering for the sake of hate.

Being on the side of love and light does not mean standing down. It does not mean silence. It calls us to rise and fight this battle on every level: energetically, socially, publicly, financially.

The question now is simple:
Will you answer the call?
Will you rise, not just in action, but in energy, and help love and light win?
